IAS exam Eligibility;-
1-You must be passed a graduate degree from a Indian recognized university
2-There is no percentage requirement
3-Appearing in final year candidates are also Eligible.
Age limits;-
General age limits is 21-30 years. Age relaxation is given reserved category students.
Age relaxation;---
3 years age relaxation for OBC category
5 years age relaxation for SC/ST category

For giving the IAS examination you need to fulfill the eligibility criteria That you should be a graduate in any stream from a recognized Indian university and your age should be in between 21-30 years. You will be having 4 attempts to give the examination.
This is the criteria for the general category. A relaxation of 3 years is given to the obc candidates while a relaxation of 5 years is given to the sc/st candidates.
The number of attempts for the obc candidates is 7 whereas there is no restrictions in number of attempts for the sc.st candidates

Firstly, IAS/IPS is not a entrance examination, but a competitive examination conducted by the UPSC every year. The essential qualification for the examination is to pass the Bachelor degree in any discipline at any recognized university. The age limit for the examination is within 21-30 years. The upper age limit for OBC is 03 years and for SC/ST is 05 years, and for PH & EX. it is 10 years. There is only 04 attempts for General candidates, 07 for OBC and upto the last age limit for SC/ST candidates to appear the CSAT examination.
