IBPS is tough but UPSC is tougher.
the patterns for both the exams are different
IBPS is for bank jobs whereas UPSC conducts for many other categories too like for engg, medical, geologists, section officers, foreign, forest services etc
Dear student,
With no doubt, the UPSC exams are a lot tougher than the IBPS exams.
The exams conducted by the UPSC,on success, offers you with honourable posts at the centre,Such as the IAS,IPS,IFS,a personnel in the National Defence Academy,an officer or an engineer at the Indian Railways, officer in revenue department, etc.
These posts not only offers a good handsome amount of money, but also commands for lot of responsibility and dignity in society.
So these are conducted in a number of ways to select the best possible candidates.
On the other hand, the IBPS Exams are conducted only for clerical and P.O. Posts in banks, and those who overcome written and interviews are selected.
So these are relatively very less tougher than the UPSC exams.
My Dear Aspirant
IBPS Conducting exams for bank po and bank clerk post
And on the other hand upsc is recruiting for IAS And ips like posts
So dear you can think which is tough and which is easy
My dear upsc exam is recruiting for higher post of the country ias post
And on the other hand ibps for bank po
So dear the toughness level of the upsc exam is much higher than
The ibps exam dear
Best of luck

Hello friend,
This is your decision you have to choose which is easy for you.
If you really want to go in the banking sector then you have to think
positively about the examination. You have to crack that examination
any how.The same matter follows for in the case of UPSC exams.
Though there are many examinations are conducted by UPSC for
the different type of backgrounds.
To me cracking UPSC is more easy,as the examinations are conducted
by UPSC as per there academic career.for this purpose it is easy for a
student to crack the Examination.but many students apply for the
examinations which are not linked with there academic sections, for
them it is very difficult to crack.
All the best.....
none of the national exam is easy!
both exam are very difficult to crack!
but in my considerence the upsc is one of the toughest exam of our country!
Hello Guest
as you might know IBPS conducts exam for the post of probationary officers and clerks in banks while UPSC conducts exam for various Class1 posts (through a variety of exams) primarily IAS etc. So you cannot compare these exam because both exams require different skills like for IBPS you focus on speed and accuracy while for UPSC Exams you need in depth knowledge.
Thanks
IAS exam's amonng the toughest exam's inthe world as it churns out all of your dep knowledge whatever you have read, write, learn everyday-today life to academic life whereas In IBPS you have to merely read, learn only basic subjec even though you neednot to prepare for any descriptive exam as in the case of IAS
MOREOVER
IAS is for recruitment of the post which falls under the GROUP- A posts whereas IBPS generally conducts exam for the P.O which are group-b posts .
so answer is in font of you.
Dear friend
Take your decision as in which field you want to go .
No exam is tough if you prepare well for the exam if you have not prepared well then UPSC and IBPS both will be tougher for you.
you have to face your difficulties rather than going behind them .
Give your best and achieve your best
Dear,
Both are different each other.
with the help of the upsc exam you got the job in the minsitry of home affairs, Indian army, indian navy,Indian air force.indian engineering
servies like as other department.
With the help of the ibps you got the job only in banking sector. all government bank with the help of the ibps select the candidate.
best of luck for the future
see my friend ....both are two major competitive exams.Hardwork is neccessary for both ones but these two are different streams.IBPS includes bank sector side like clerk, steniographer(typist),probationary officers(po's) and the cutoff marks are also very high that depends on total members. The syllabus is common for each & every bank exam. That is golden oppertunity because each bank exam will concentrate on olny 5 things i.e.,arithmetic reasoning, quantitave aptitude, english, gerneral awareness and computer knowledge. If you go through in deep then you will definatly get the job in any bank.On otherhand UPSC.....includes different sessions and syllabus also vary. For example consider CDS exam that belongs to UPSC.The syllabus is maths, english and GK similarly these syllabus is common for some other competitive exams...all the best friend
