why not, you can clear Prelims exam of this year.

you have to start preparation from now.

at first read exam pattern very well. after that manage your time table according to preparation.

read newspaper daily and watch tv news daily.

you should follow best books specially NCERT books.

Collect as much GK as you can.

Share new things with others.

Join any best coaching center.

Practice previous year question papers.

Do more work hard as you can do to crack prelims exam.

If you do your preparation with entire concentration, then it is possible to clear the pre exam. for this you must go through the prescribed syllabus of the UPSC. you can download the syllabii fro UPSC website.

but hard and smart work is necessary
if this is your first attempt so i ll not fool you as it is really very typical to clear it in one go

But also your luck matters
If your gk & English are really strong so you ll make it
as it needs long term and regular preparations
