What should I do to Qualify IMA exams?

I am 12th passed in year 2008 from Arts. Now what i have to do for qualifying IMA exam.

There are three academies in CDS examination:

I.M.A. and Officers� Training Academy, Indian Naval Academy, Air Force Academy

There are different eligibility criteria for these different academies.

For I.M.A. and Officers� Training Academy- Graduation Degree from a recognized University .

if you want to go for defense services you have to go for central defense service?(cds) exam which is conducted by the upsc.


through cds a candidate can apply for

1. ima = indian military academy
2. ota = officer training academy
3. na = naval academy

the required qualification for cds is as follows

candidate should be a graduate from a recognized university.
Final year student can also apply
the age limit is19 to 24 years
candidate should be an indian

2. general knowledge
3. mathematics
4. intelligence test

in english the comprehension skills are checked,
in general knowledge the candidates knowledge base is considered

Eligibility Criteria for I.M.A :-

Age should be between 19 years and 24 years and only unmarried male candidates are eligible.
Graduation in any desire subject from any recognized university or equivalent qualification.
Candidates who are appearing in the final year of degree course can also apply for this examination.
