Is HEC a good stream after 10th if my goal is to achieve IAS (Indian Administrative Service)? How far does this stream benefits for Civils preparation?

i have completed my tenth standard. i want to know whether taking up HEC as my option help in achieving my goal IAS? How far this group benefits me in preparing for civils?

Actually engineering is not required for IAS in my point of view because you can have more time for preparation if you take a light subject as a degree.... And if you decide you want to become an IAS officer for sure then my suggestion is you don't require engineering....... but its your wish because some may have passion regarding engg.
