Since you have opted for public administration ...

Yeah ofcourse , it is one of the common and easy subject.

Since you are an engineer ,

and Engineers have a very strong aptitude ,

So i will suggest you to go for Mathematics as your second optional subjects.

    Reasons for Maths :

    - You know all the basics

    - You have studied more than a normal mathematician (because you are an engineer)

    - You have a very great aptitude background.

    - You Have already solved questions in depth.

    - it will take less time for you to prepare.

    - It is one of your familiar subjects

    - You can excel in the concepts very easily

SO , i will suggest you to go with Maths , But will never force you.

At last .... choice has to be yours.

    Good Luck ..
