Friend you can Custom and Excise department through Staff Selection Commission.
SSC conducts combined graduation level every year for the recruitment of following post.
Auditor
Compiler
Accountant
Income tax assistant
Sale tax assistant
Excise Inspector
Custom inspector
SI in CBI
Etc.
CGL exam is conducted once in a year for the recruitment of candidates.
This exam is organized at all India level and lots of candidates take part in this exam, So exam pattern will be tough.
Eligibility for SSC CGL exam
You should be graduated in any branch from recognized university or its equivalent.
There is no restriction of marks in graduation.
You should be in age of 18 to 27 years.
Age relaxation is given as per the government rules
