    What can I do for applying in Customs & Excise Department? I am presently pursuing M.Sc Biotechnology.

    Sir I am pursing MSc. Biotechnology( final Sem.) please guide me what can I do for applying in customs & excise DEPt.I will be very thankful to you.

    Hi Aspirant,

    Friend you can apply for the custom and excise department.

    SSC organizes the CGL exam every year for the recruitment of post of central and excise department.

    CGL stands for Combined Graduation Level exam. This is conducted at national level and candidates from every part of India can apply for the CGL exam. Through CGL exam you can also apply for some other post which are as follows

    Income tax assistant

    Sale tax assistant

    Auditor

    Compiler

    Junior accountant

    Sub inspector in CBI

    Etc.

    SSC will release the notification for the CGL exam on 19/1/2013 and last date of application form will be on 15/3/2013.

    Exam will be held on 14/4/2013 and 21/4/2013.


    Qualification for CGL exam

    You should be graduated in any branch from recognized university or its equivalent.

    Age should be between 18 to 27 years

    Age relaxation

    SC/ST + 5 years

    OBC + 3 years

    You must be the citizen of India.


    You can apply for the CGL exam in two modes

    yes you can apply for the CUSTOMS& EXCISE DEPARTMENT .


    you can apply for SSC (COMBINED GRADUATE LEVEL) EXAMS for the CUSTOMS & EXCISE DEPARTMENT.


    ELIGIBILITY:-

    >> you should have to passed graduate from the recognized university.

    >> age should be 18 to 27 years.

    >> age relaxation for obc 3 years , sc/st 5 years.

    >> you should be an indian.
