NDA stands for National Defence Academy and it is a entry for all three wings of defence,for the intermediate students only.
Hence if you do not want to attempt NDA ,then you have opportunities after graduation.
After completing graduation,you can apply for CDSE(Combined Defence Service Examination) and AFCAT(Air Force Common Admission Test).
both CDSE and AFCAT are entry for air force after completing graduation.Both the entry are for graduate students.
CDSE allows you to apply for only flying branch while AFCAT allows you to apply for all three branches 1)Flying Branch 2)Technical Branch 3)Ground Duty Branch.

if you want to join indian air force with out appearing / clearing nda exam than you go with cds or afcat exam .
for this you should be graduate with science term that is all .
