My name is manas. I am 10th pass diploma holder.. And also completed my b.tech with ncc'c' certifcate.....am i eligible for cds??? And What is the age limit for cds....

There is no fixed pattern for CDS as 10+2+3.You need to be a graduate whether after diploma or after 12th it does not matter.The age limit for CDS varies as per the academy you wish to apply.IMA 19-24years,AFA 19-23years, INA 19-22years and OTA 19-25years. But OTA is the main priority for female candidates and males if apply for OTA will be given preference after the eligible females are selected.Your diploma after 10th will not create any problem if you are having your B.tech but check the age limit.You can also apply through SSC technical of Army or Navy as you are a B.Tech and also for AFCAT Technical branch.The age limits for the Technical branch is 21-27years so you have a better chance in that and also the vacancies are also for only B.tech holders rather than for all graduates like in CDS.All the best.

As per the criteria there is a need to of graduate in any discipline to apply for the CDS examination.
As you said that you have diploma in technology then you need to apply for the NDA examination because this is equivalent qualification as class12th. so you are able to apply for the NDA examination after the diploma.
Here is the eligibility criteria for the NDA examination as follows-
NDA stands for the national defence academy.
Examination is conducted twice in a year to select the candidates in any of the three branches if defence services like indian army, air force and indian navy .
Your age should be 16.5 to 19 years of age to apply for the same.
You should not have any criminal records.
You must be male and unmarried.
girls are not eligible to apply for the same.

If you are B.Tech then you can apply for CDS Examination which is conducted by UPSC every year..

Friend, if the candidate is possessing any bachelor degree, then he is fully eligible for CDS Examination. As you have B.Tech degree, then you are too eligible for CDS Examination.CDS Examination is held twice in a year by UPSC. YES YOU ARE ELIGIBLE FOR APPLYING IN CDSE.
Diploma is not a issue at all,it is equivalent to 10+2.Both 10+2+4 and 10+3+3 forms are acceptable,no problem.

CDSE allows to apply for IMA-Indian Military Academy
The educational qualification required to apply is graduation from any stream
Age limit is 19 to 24 years(at the time of commencement of the course,not at the time of applying).
IMA is a entry in army

OTA(Officers Training Academy)-same qualification as IMA.
Age limit is 19 to 25 years(at the time of commencement of the course,not at the time of applying).
OTA is a entry in army.

AFA(Air Force Academy)
The educational qualification is graduation from any stream but with physics and maths at intermediate stage.
Age limit is 19 to 23 years(at the time of commencement of the course,not at the time of applying)
AFA is a entry in air force

NA(Naval Academy)
The educational qualification required is b.sc in physics and maths or a engineering degree.
Age limit is 19 to 22 years(at the time of commencement of the course,not at the time of applying).
NA is a entry in navy.

I am sorry to say but you are not eligible of giving the NDA exam unless you are not appeared or given the senior secondary exam.
For giving the NDA exam, you need to be a 12th class pass or appeared and your age should be in between 16.5-19 years.
The exam is conducted by the upsc twice in an yeat.

B.Tech is a graduation degree course and after graduation every candidates are eligible for CDS exam.

So, do not worry about that if after 10th you passed diploma course , diploma is equivalent to 12th.
