    Hi Aspirant

    Yes You can join the defence services through upsc department

    as for the defence services the union public service commission is conducting the

    common defence services exam every year

    and after clearing it you can join the defence and you have to clear

    the written test first and than after that you have to attempt

    the ssb which takes 5 days and it will be the most difficult task

    Here is Qualifications Required for the CDS exam :

    -The Candidate must be pass in the graduation degree

    -The Candidate should have physics and maths as subjects at 12th level

    -For the IAF And Indian Naval


    Age :

    -The age for the IMA 19-24

    -The age limit for the IAF 19-23

    -The age limit for the Indian Naval is 19-22

    -The age limit for the OTA 19-25


    Attempts :

    Their is no limit for the


    Nationality :

    ## Indian

    CDS stands for CENTRAL DEFENSE ACADEMY.
    its conducted by UPSC.


    CDS ELIGIBILITY:-

    you should be passed graduate from the recognized university.

    age should be 19 to 25 years.

    you must be an indian.

    CDS stands for CENTRAL DEFENSE ACADEMY.

    through CDS EXAM you can join INDIAN AIRFORCE , INDIAN NAVY, INDIAN ARMY.

    There is only one UPSC exams through which you can join the armed forces of our country,after completing your graduation(B.SC physics-a graduate degree).

    CDSE-Combined Defense Service Examination-The examination is a entrance(for the graduates) through which you can join the armed forces of Indian altogether.
    CDSE is a entry for

    ~IMA-Indian Military Academy-The qualification required is the graduation in any stream.Age limit-19 to 24 years(at the time of commencement of the course,and not when applying for it)-as the name suggests a entry in the army.

    ~OTA-Officers Training Academy-same as IMA.
    Age Limit-19 to 25 years(at the time of commencement of the course.not when applying for the exam)-a entry for the army.

    ~AFA-Air force Academy-The graduation from any stream but with physics and maths in 10+2,age limit-19 to 23 years(at the time of commencement of the course,not at the time of applying for it)-as the name suggests a entry in the air force.

    ~NA-Naval Academy-The graduation degree in B.SC(physics and maths) or else a Engineering degree.
    Age limit-19 to 22 years(at the time of commencement of the course,not at the time of applying for the course)-a entry in to the navy.

    The CDSE is a combined exam for all the wings,when you appear for the CDS exam you will have to choose your preferences,for which one you want to apply.
    It is conducted twice in a year,the notifications are released in the month of the June and October.

    Hello,
    You can apply for CDS Examination to join Indian Defence after B.Sc(Physics).
    CDS stands for Combined Defence Services Examination. CDS Exam is conducted by UPSC twice a year for the recruitment of candidates in the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Naval Academy (NA), Air Force Academy (AFA), Officers Training Academy (OTA). You just have to satisfy the basic eligibility criteria to appear for the Exam.

    The eligibility criteria for CDS Exam are as follows:
    The candidate must be Indian.
    The Candidates (Unmarried) of age between 19-24 years are eligible.
    For I.M.A. and OTA: Degree of a recognized University or equivalent.
    For Indian Naval Academy: Degree in Engineering.
    For Air Force Academy: Degree of a recognized University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.

    Well you can join in Indian defence service after completing B.sc (Physcis) through CDS exam.CDS stands for Combined Defence Service,it is conducted by UPSC ( Union Public Service Comission ).This exam is conducted for the following wings1. Indian Army2. Navy3. Airforce and4. OTA (Officer Training Academy)The following are the eligible criteria for writing this exam�� You must be a graduate�� You must be an Indian�� Your age must lie between + Army & Navy : 19 - 24 years + Airforce : 19 - 23 years + OTA : 19 - 25 years�� You must be physically and mentally fit ....
