study the cbse curriculum up to 12th standard... you should be string in all the subjects in cbse up to 12th.... keep updating yourself with current affairs..... after completing your +12 choose optional subject depending upon your interest.....

UPSC (IAS/IPS/IRS so on and so forth) require preparations from a period spanning a long time, start reading good newspapers,editorials, get thorough with your social studies. By the time you reach your graduate level (only after which you become eligible to appear for the UPSC exam; 21 years of age) you are now ready with the essentials for the exam. Just 15 to 16 months prior to the exam get through the general science, EVS, English language, basic mathematics, data interpretation etc., along with Current affairs and Social Sciences ofcourse.
Being a class 10th student,Its good that you have decided so early the goal want to achieve.
I would advice u to choose your stream in your area of interet.Be thorough with your texts.Get yourself updated with the current affairs.Read newspapers like The Hindu and magazines as such a sthe Pratiyogita Darpan.
