If your aim is IAS then Start preparation of IAS.
Achieve your aim first after that if you have time then do M.tech.

If you have very clear concepts in your graduation stream and if you want to carry on the passion you have for this field, then you should definitely go on for m.tech. but if you think that it is not the right choice for you and you need an alternative, then you should go through the syllabus of the upsc for giving the IAS exam. if you think that you can cope up with these subjects and perform well, then you should go on for the IAS preparation
