    How can I write UPSC NDA exam in 2012 being a resident of a small town named Dhubri of Assam?

    How can i from a small town like dhubri, assam can sit in exam of upsc nda 2012

    Dear Aspirant,
    -The NDA exams are conducted twice in an year by the UPSC,in the months of April and September respectively.Hence they are known as NDA-I and NDA-II by the time in which they are conducted.
    -The Notifications of release of forms are made in January and May respectively,on the official website of UPSC :
    www.upsc.gov.in
    -The NDA-I exams,2012 were successfully conducted in April.The written results are now declared.
    -The last date to apply for the NDA-II exams,2012 were 4th June,2012.The results of written exams will be declared in November.
    Hence,I doubt you have missed applying for the exams in 2012.
    -The exams are conducted for enrollment of candidates in the three legs of Indian Defence,namely ARMY,AIR FORCE and NAVAL ACADEMY.
    -You can apply both ONLINE and OFFLINE.
    -To apply ONLINE,just visit the website :
    www.upsconline.nic.in
    You can use your basic details to apply.
    -To apply OFFLINE,you need to purchase the application form from the nearest authorized post office.You can fill the form according to that directed in brochure.Then submit the form on the desired address.
    -The eligibility requirements of these exams are mentioned below-
    :: ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA ::
    -You must hold Indian Citizenship,
    or,You must be a subject of Nepal or Bhutan,
    or,You must be a Tibetan refugee settled permanently in India,before 1962.
    -You must be 16.5 to 19 years of age.
    -You must have completed your 10+2 board exams from a recognized university or board.
    Final year students are also applicable.
    -To apply for Navy and Air Wing,You must have had Physics And Maths at your 10+2 level.
    -You must meet the Physical and Medical demands of the NDA exams once you qualify the written exams.

    # Hence,You can apply once you fulfil the eligibility criteria.
    # The best way to apply is to apply online.
    Although,you can also get the form from the nearest Main branch post office.

    there is no problem from anywhere you are but you can get the APPLICATION from the nearest head post office in your region , since this years NDA application has been already closed you have to wait for the sept/oct for the new notification.

    UPSC doesn't give facility to every inividual to his places as it can't be possible in this diversific region of INDIAN DOMAIN.

    so UPSC will give facility to conduct it in main city of your region, where there is chances to easily reached by any candidates.


    I think it is in your region are guwahati, shilong, many more which you have to make choice among the available in notification according to your accessibility.


    "NO pain NO GAIN" atleast you have to make few arrangements on you behalf also to reach nearest centre.

    For appearing NDA exam it does not depend from were are you .
    There is a common form for all UPSC exams. In the prescribed form, a candidate has to indicate the exam he/she has applied for. Forms are available in selected post offices across the country. As soon as the application forms are received and processed, the candidates will be sent an admit card. Candidates who belong to reserved quota can post their applications along with concession proof.

    You can apply for both online and offline.

    Yes being an Indian National you can appear for NDA exam.

    Nationality Required:

    A candidate must either be :

    (i) a citizen of India, or
    (ii) a subject of Bhutan, or
    (iii) a subject of Nepal, or
    (iv) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
    (v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka and East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
    Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) and (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.


    Also you should fulfill the below mentioned criteria:

    Candidates who have cleared 10+2 and those who are currently doing can apply
    Those who had taken Physics & Mathematics in Class 12th can apply for navy and air force.
    Candidates appearing for the exam must be bachelors .They must be between 16 1/2 to 19 years ie not before 1st July, 1994 & not later than 1st January, 1997.

    in UPSC it does not matter that you are from small town or big city.

    It is not matter that you are from metropoliton or small town it needs only if you are intermediate(10+2) with science and your age btween 16.5 to 19.

    Dear,

    it doesn't matter that where you live because if you want to appear in the upsc civil services examination

    than you must apply online mode only because no other mode of application is accepted by upsc.

    So don't worry about it and concentrate on your preparation.

    dear you have not to worry ,


    first of all you cannot apply for this year because nda 1 was held on 15 april 2012 and the nda 2 is going to be held on 19 august.

    because you have to fill the application form only online mode
    because no other mode of application will be accepted for national defence academy examination.

    so you can fill the application form from anywhere in India.

    to fill the application form online you have to go on the official website of upsc for online forms

    so don't worry and concentrate on your study

    yes dear you can sit in the nda exam conducted by upsc after being a resident of a small town.
    every Indian male of age between 16.5 to 19 years who has completed 12th from a school in India with maths ,english as subjects is eligible for upsc nda exams apart form the his residence status .every male fulfill the eligibility for upsc nda exam can apply for this exam whether he lives in a small town or in a big city or capital everybody is equal for this exam.

    Yes you can sit for the UPSC NDA Exam.This exam is conducted by Union public Service Commission for twice Per year.(NDA-1 And NDA-II).NDA have a three academy.

    ~~Army
    ~~Navy
    ~~Air Force

    Requirement Eligibility's:-

    ~~The Aspirants age limit should between 16.5 to 19 years.
    ~~The Aspirants should be Citizen of India.
    ~~The Aspirants should be Complete the 12th standard in any stream from recognized institute.
    ~~The Aspirants should be medically fit for the NDA Exam.
