Scheme and subjects for the Preliminary and Main Examinations
A. Preliminary Examination
The Examination shall comprise two compulsory papers of 200 marks each.

Exam Format of Civil Services Examination
The Civil Services Exam is a paper based test and consists of two successive stages:
Preliminary Examination� comprising 2 exams � General Studies and CSAT
Civil Services Main Examination (Written and Interview)
The basic eligibility criteria for Civil Services Exam are as follows:
The candidate must hold any degree in any discipline from any recognized university. Final year degree students are also eligible
