more than 70 questions and english is compulsory for clear ur cpf exam........
approaximately the cut off score in writen exam would be 200 and in Interview it would be around 100, so accordingly you can prepare.

1) General Knowledge - 120 Questions - 100 marks
2) General English - 120 quesiotns - 100 marks
3) Elementary Maths -100 Quesitons - 100 marks

So, be well prepared in these topics .

its not about that how many questions you need to answer.its about how much you about the topic.when you enter into CPF you should know current affairs and general knowledge.
when comes to CPF exam pattern=
its consists of 2 parts:-
1)paper I =objective types which includes questions related to general ability, intelligence of 250 marks
2)paper II= coventional type which includes essay,precis , comprehension of 150 marks.
**so friend in each paper try to score half of the total marks.
tips=read newpapers and magazines to improve english and grammar
be updatd towards day to day news.
practice model papers to give you an idea the way of questions uesd to come in exam.

Atleast you have to attempt 150 question for clearing CPF exam bcoz after attemting these question your some question will be deducting from your attemting question according to with 0.25 negative markeing so that I think you have to around 150 question for this exam.
