Hi,
See you'll require Maths at some point for sure.
So its better that you start working on it rather than ignoring it.
You definitely need to have a sound mathematical background if you want to become IAS/IPS officer.
In case of Mathematics,to make your maths strong, you should do and attempt as many questions as possible!
The more questions you attempt, the better it is for you!
By doing so you come across different varieties of questions that can come in the exam.
And believe me,once you start solving them, you will feel like doing Maths for the whole day.
But proper time management is important.
Keep aside around 2 hours for doing Maths questions daily.
Learn all the formula e so that you don't loose marks just because you used a wrong formula!
I am sure once you follow the above points,Maths will become very easy and one your strongest subjects!
Best of Luck for the exam!
Dear,
For the civil service exam knowledge of the math is compulsory.
If you have clear the basic of the math then you attempt number of the question.
If you do not know about the basic of the mathematics then you face the problem in the general studies exam.
So you take the guidance for the mathematics from the good institute .
Best of luck
No dear, it is not possible to become IAS/IPS without studying and knowing maths. Bcoz now days mathematics subjects is compulsory in every types of course, degree, diploma and also govt. exams. So you should be taking coaching classes for mathematics specially. Expect math you have knowlege of all subjects are very well if you have no any knowledge of maths then that subject's is not any profit. So give equally efforts to your all subjects. If you will be approve this then offcourse one day you will be become an IAS or IPS officer.
Thanks

Sorry dear,
it's not possible to become an IAS/IPS officer without studying mathematics. And one thing always remember that you cannot crack a simple clerk exam without math. So, make interest in the math. Take it as a game not as a subject, i assure you that you never feel bored from math. It's an easy subject because you need not to remember whole book. You just need to remember some formulas.
thanks
