Upsc is conducting the civil services exam

Every and their is huge competition in the exam

Specially their is thousands of the candidates appearing every year

But only few or selected students get success

So you need to work very much hard

Education Qualification Required for the Civil services exam:

-The Applicant must be pass in the degree from a recognized Indian university

-The Applicant should be pass in the graduation with just pass marks

-The Applicant of the final year of degree are also eligible for the exam

Age Required for the Civil Services Exam:

-The age of the Applicant should be between 21-30

Age Relaxation Given to the Reserve Categories :

~ For obc 3 years relaxation given

~ To sc,st 5 years relaxation given

~ To ph 10 years relaxation given

There is no age relaxation for sports persons in civil services exam. Only OBC, SC, ST, exserviceman candidates can avail age relaxation in UPSC civil services exam. In all competitive examination conducted by UPSC there is no age relaxation for sports persons.
However UPSC conducts some special recruitment such as airworthiness officers, Education officer, officers in EPFO (Employee provident fund's organisation), faculty members of govt. colleges etc. Only in such special recruitment there is age relaxation of 5 years for sports persons ( 10 years for SC/ST sportspersons and 8 years for OBC sportspersons) . refer upsc notifications in upsc.gov.in website

upsc provides age relaxation to those candidates who belongs to OBC or SC/ST category.
candidates belonging to OBC gets age relaxation of 3 years.
candidates belonging to SC/ST gets age relaxation of 5 years.


also those who are sports persons they also gets age relaxation of 5 years.
