There is no specific time in which you can prepare for CSE. Its on how much you can grasp & remember it. Definitely complete ! year devotion with proper time management can help you fly with success.
All d best
time needed for preparation depends on one's interest, knowledge, & memory power to grasp topics & also remember it.
person who work very hard for last 3-4 months can also clear CIVIL SERVICE. we cant say that person who spending a whole year can clear this exam.
HARD WORK, TIME MANAGEMENT are very important.
Dear friend

dear good preparation does not depend upon how much hours you study it depends upon the sufficient and time managed study,
you should manage your time well so that every subject gets the proper time to do better preparation,
also you should make time table of all subjects and give appropriate time for study to each subjects,
also you can download previous years question papers from the official website of upsc and can practice in better way.
solve practice papers daily,
civil services i think is top most exam of INDIA. a very small portion of candidates clear this exam.

dear friend,
In UPSC Civil Services Exam lots of candidates take part. and In CS exam there is very hard competition so you need to prepare well for the exam.
For CS exam according to me 6 to 7 months are enough. You should concentrate on quality of study rather than quantity of study. Study 8 to 10 hours daily. Work hard for preparation of the exam.
Eligibility Criteria:
1. Graduation of recognized university or college.
2. Age Limit:
General: 21 to 30 years
OBC: 21 to 33 years
SC/ST: 21 to 35 years
Good Luck......
Hi friend,
Well mine friend, it basically depends upon how much time you are laying on preparation and what quality of prepartion is you are laying.
Basically in mine opinion it takes some nice 2 years with labor and i guess at an average 2 or 3 attempts.
So, i will suggest you to take coachings, other wise you will be doomed..
These coachings may help you :
>> TIME
>> RAo's IAS academy
>> CHankya
>> Career launcher
>> Career shaper
>> Ravi's IAS academy
Best of Luck!!
Hope it helps!!
