Can I do BA from Home science college if I want to prepare for Civil Services Exam later?

I am biology student and have passed 12th.I want to do preparation for civil services exam so can i do graduation in BA from home science college.
Pls tell me the best option which can be completed easily and i can give more time to my preparation.

you can do your graduation with any subjects from any college or University. but the condition is that the college or University from which you will do graduation must be recognized. So first of all check that College or University is affiliated or Not.

UPSC conduct Civil Services Exam for the posts of IAS, IPS, IRS, IFS etc. And The exam is conducted by UPSC every year.

Levels Of Civil Services Exam:
1. Prelims(CSAT)
2. Mains
3. Interview
you have to clear all the levels of the exam if you want to get int IRS.

Scheme and subjects for the Preliminary and Main Examinations
A. Preliminary Examination
The Examination shall comprise two compulsory papers of 200 marks each.

Eligibility Criteria For Civil Services:

>>you must have completed or appearing in final year of graduation.

>>your age must be within 21 years to 30 years on 1 August of the year of exam. there is relaxation in upper age limit up to 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.



Limit Number Of Attempts:

>>General category: 4 attempts

>>OBC category: 7 attempts

>>SC/ST category: No Limit
