Dear as you know that Central Police Force Assistant Commandant Examination is going to be conducted at 20th of October 2013 and if you are preparing for that examination so that you should make it sure that you have not more than 3 months to get prepared for examination and preparation is not enough to get qualified because this is national level competitive examination where candidates appears in lakhs to become assistant commandant and posts are not too many according to the aspirants that is why you will have to take time as much as possible to prepare for CPF Examination then only you will be selected for that
According to the present condition, if you starts preparation from 1st of August then make a target for the preparation of two months because no time at all and you will have to complete all the necessary subjects within these two months and left 20 days should be dedicated to the practice of this examination because that is mandatory for all competitive exams and to complete entire syllabus and revise once within 2 months you should try to give more than 10 hours everyday for your preparation where 3 hours should be separated for each subject and if having extra time then take another subject or revise that again and again
Buy some good books to prepare in detail for each examination and if you see that you have completed your preparation and revised at least one then buy some good books for practice as - Arihant Publication/ Upkar Publication/ Kiran Publication/ RPH Editorial etc. and make good practice over all subjects by fixing enough time for each section because time will be limited in exam to solve question paper that is why you just have to make very good practice and mainly prefer those subjects which are more scoring as - Quantitive Aptitude so you will score good marks in examination and General Ability Test will required revision and practice by using various books so you have to do that and writing is in your hand that how much you practice for comprehension subject that is why I would force you to practice as much as possible and get different pattern of questions
I have attached official notification for this examination and you can apply for this exam before 5th of August 2013 at www.upsc.gov.in
All the best
