How to pay the examination fee of UPSC IAS prelims by cash in SBI branch?

sir, i have submitted all details of part-1 of upsc ias form . but in part -2 i am unable to understand how to pay the examination fee by cash on sbi branch.please help me.

first download challan for fee payment and printout the challan. Take hard copy of challan and directly go to any near sbi branch
and fill detail in challan and pay cash and give challan to cashier. thats it.

Dear there are two different modes available to pay the fee for UPSC IAS examination 2013 which are - Online Mode and Offline Mode and if you have selected Offline mode then you should not worry because to pay the fee in State Bank of India by using the Auto generated Challan Form first you need to complete your registration because without completing registration you may not access ahead that is why you should use your registration number and date of birth then complete your Part II registration and when you will submit the application form finally then you will get the option on the page where you will see - Download Challan form, Download Application form as PdF so that you need to download both of these necessary documents then complete the required details which has been asked in the Challan form then go to any branch of SBI and pay the fee

If you belongs to either General or OBC then you need to pay only 100 rupees as the fee of exam and if you belongs to either SC or ST or PH category then you do not need to pay the examination fee for this examination

There would be two papers conducted in the prelims examination which has 400 marks means 200 for each objective type paper and qualifying in prelims is necessary to be eligible for mains exam and other details about exam are available in the notification

• If you want to pay the examination fee of UPSC IAS prelims by cash in SBI branch, then first you have to download the SBI Challan copy and take the printout of it.
• Then pay the fees at nearest SBI branch and they will provide you the transaction ID.
• Now go to site and a fresh page will open having registration ID.
• Then select the pay by cash option here.
• Now enter the transaction ID which is generally of seven or eight characters and also provide date of transaction.
• Hit on submit button and follow other instructions.

For the part II registration, you need to fill your details in it and upload your scanned photograph and scanned signature on the form and thereafter you have to proceed for the payment section. In that section if you chose to do the payment offline through challan, then the next step is that you need to download that challan and take out a print copy of it and then you need to go to the bank and make the demand draft in favour of the upsc and send it to the address mentioned on the site. Keep the receipt of your demand draft with you only safely, it will be helpful in case if any problem will occur.

2) By SBI Challan.

when you complete Part-I Registration and Click Continue Button then it will show you option to Take Printout of challan.

>> Now Take Printout and get hard copy of that.

>> It will contain you application number and Account detail of UPSC authority.

>> Just Go to nearest SBI branch in your area and Give challan to Cashier and Fee.

>> It will take half part of Challan and Give Transaction number.

>> Transaction number is used in Part-II Registration to add extra details.
