As you will be knowing there is no specific subject in Civil services Exam, related to food science and technology.
So you will have to choose some other subjects from the following list of subjects:
Agriculture
Management
Animal Husbandry & Vetenary Science
Mathematics
Anthropology
Mechanical Engineering
Botany
Medical Science
Chemistry
Philosophy
Civil Engineering
Physics
Commerce & Accountancy
Political Science &
International Relations
Economics
Psychology
Electrical Engineering
Public Administration
Geography
Sociology
Geology
Statistics
Indian History
Zoology
In the subjects given above the best or the easy ones for you will be the subjects related to biology as you have done your graduation in food sciences.
Or if you are interested you should choose subjects from the humanities discipline like sociology , philosophy etc.
But remember to take subjects according to your interest as you will have to thoroughly study the subjects you choose.
Also while choosing the subject you should also consider the present statistics of that subject in the civil services exam.

Friend you can start the preparation for civil service exam from now but you can apply for civil service exam after completion of graduation.
Civil service exam is conducted by UPSC for the most reputed job of India. This exam is conducted for the post of IAS, IPS or IRS.
To apply for civil exam you should be in age of 21 to 30 years.
Age relaxation for SC/ST + 5 years, for OBC + 3 years and for PH + 10 years
You should be the citizen of India.

Keep yourself update from current affairs.
