I am a M.Sc (Chemistry) graduate. Which optional subjects should I choose for UPSC mains? How will it be if I choose chemistry and geography as my optional subjects?

    Hi Aspirant,

Friend you should choose the optional subject according to your interest and desire.

As you mentioned that you are M. SC. From chemistry, so in my point of view you have chosen relevant subject according to your educational profile.

Chemistry is well familiar subject of you and you chosen geography as one another subject, Geography will be helpful for the preparation of general studies subject. At the place of geography you mat also choose History because history would be also helpful for GS section.

So friend you selection is perfect and now you have need to work hard for the preparation of civil service exam.

It is the quite tough exam and you will have to do very hard work to crack civil service exam.

You should join any good institute for better guidance to crack the UPSC exam.

You should study with reference books for the civil service exam.

You should prepare the notes for study because these notes will be helpful for you at exam time and will also improve your writing skill.

    Best of Luck…
