Hello,

There is no set rule for calculating age for all vacancies in state/central govt services. It depends on the service for which you want to apply for.
For e.g. UPSC calculates a candidate's age on 1 Aug of the exam year for CIVIL SERVICES EXAM but on 1 Jan of the exam year for SCRA exam.

So, you must read the notification for concerned service to calculate your age for that service.
