Their are many posts available for candidates in CID. Their level of entry is determined by their qualification. The min. qualification required for a candidate to join as a constable is a pass in class 12th. A candidate who aspires to join CDI must appear in the Indian Civil Services Examination conducted by UPSC.

Graduation is required so as to apply for officer post. . Maximum age limit for this post is 25 years. You should write SSC exam so as to apply for any CID posts. You need to attend Physical test and Personal Interview also if you clear written examination. Hence, you need to complete your graduation first and then apply for CID officer post

CBI is a specialised wing in many state police forces in India.

Other branches of the CBI are
    • State Crime Investigation Bureau
    • Finger Print Bureau
    • and Scientific Section.
To join in CBI you need to write the EXAM conducted by UPSC...!!
Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) recruits Police personnel through the Civil Services Examination in three level
    • (IPS cadre)
    • State Public Service Commissions
    • and by the District Police Headquarters.
Some of the police personnel selected via either of these routes are appointed by the CBI on a regular posting if they have the requisite aptitude.
No separate notifications are issued for recruitment to the CBI.

    Qualifications:
Degree of an recognized university or equivalent....

    Age Limit:
    20-25 years..

    Hi Aspirant

CBI Stands for the Central Bureau Of Investigation

And upsc is not conducting any exam for the cbi department

But you should not need to worry as staff selection commission is

Conducting the exam for the cbi

And the exam name is common graduate level exam

Which is conducting by the ssc every year

Here is the Qualification Required for the exam:

-The candidate should be pass in graduation from a recognized indian university

-The candidate age must be between 18-27

-If the candidate is obc then it should be 18-30

-If the candidate is sc/st then it should be 18-32

-If the candidate is ph then it should be 18-37

If you are filling all these requirements

Then you can go for the exam

    Best of luck
