Their are many posts available for candidates in CID. Their level of entry is determined by their qualification. The min. qualification required for a candidate to join as a constable is a pass in class 12th. A candidate who aspires to join CDI must appear in the Indian Civil Services Examination conducted by UPSC.

Graduation is required so as to apply for officer post. . Maximum age limit for this post is 25 years. You should write SSC exam so as to apply for any CID posts. You need to attend Physical test and Personal Interview also if you clear written examination. Hence, you need to complete your graduation first and then apply for CID officer post
