UPSC conducts CMS exam every year but thats for Medical officer(where the qualification is MBBS).I want to ask whether there is any exam by UPSC where they directly recruit you as Specialist physician,since i have completed my MD in general medicine.

UPSC conducts COMBINED MEDICAL SERVICES EXAM, 2012 and only by this exam you can go for the Medical Officer Jobs. Otherwise you have to go for the other State Level or Central Level exam.
If you have MBBS you can fill up the form of CMS.

Dear sir,you did such a long and AMULYA years of your life in medical study but with this you get only eligibility criteria for examination not to direct wild card entry off course after your selection(in interview) you would be able to get benefits with these all degrees!Best of luck and thank you

dear upsc conducts various exams for various jobs but if you want to get a job of medical officer them there is only CMS exam (COMBINED MEDICAL SERVICES ) through which you can get a job of medical officer ,
beside this you need to go for other state level exams to get job of medical officer.

It is only by CMSE( Combined Medical Service Examination) that you can be recruited to that post
