As far as reservation quota is concerned , we dont have any reservations for sportsmen till now.

On July 05,2012 ... Former Sports Minister Oscar Fernandes has submitted a three-point proposal to the Government, demanding quota for sportspersons in All India Civil Services.

In his draft proposal addressed to the Union Sports Minister Ajay Maken, Fernandes has suggested -

5 per cent quota for sportsmen in the IAS, IPS and IFS who have excelled and won medals at the Olympics.

But till now we dont have any update on the suggested proposal.

But you dont worry , you are a sportsman , take it with a good spirit of equality and prepare hard.
