Hello Dear,
To join OTA (Officer Training Academy ) you must crack the CDS exam. Because there is no specific exam of CDS.
We can say that OTA is the subset of CDS that means
CDS is a exam conducted by UPSC for joining in difference field like indian army, airforce, etc ... and OTA is one of them
I think you satisfy my answer.
Hello
You need to check your question properly, the question you asked has no valid point. It is basically a wrong question.
CDSE stands for combined defense service examination which is a entrance for candidates in air force, navy and army.Through
~IMA(INDIAN MILITARY ACADEMY).
~OTA(OFFICERS TRAINING ACADEMY).
~AFA(AIR FORCE ACADEMY).
~NA(NAVAL ACADEMY).
OTA itself is a academy and you need to crack the CDSE to enter in to OTa,OTS is not a entrance so the comparison between CDSE and OTA is completely in valid, hence your question is also in valid.
You must have understand that the both CDS and OTA are neither same nor different, but they have a connection between them.
CDS stands for Combined Defence Services.OTA exam is a part of CDS exam. For OTA exam age must be between 19 to 25 years. In this exam both married and unmarried candidates are eligible.Graduation degree in any stream from a recognized university.Indian nationality or subject of Nepal or subject of Bhutan.
2 Times in a year by Union Public Service Commission.
