    Dear

    IPS stand for Indian Police Service. To become an IPS officer you would be crack Civil Service exam which is conducted by UPSC every year

    Eligibility for this examination is given below:

    Age Limitation:

    Age should be between
    For General candidate 21-30 years
    For OBC Candidate 21-33 years
    For SC/St candidate 21-35 years
    Ex-Servicemen +5 years

    Educational Qualification:

    Candidate must be Graduate any stream from any recognized university.
    There is no percentage require for this examination

    Attempts:

    For General candidate 4 attempts
    For OBC candidate 7 attempts
    For SC/ST candidate No Limits

    Therefore you can apply if you are have above eligibility

    Hi,If you to become an IPS Officer, you should have to crack civil services examination.This Exam is being conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) once in a yearTO BE ELIGIBLE FOR CIVIL SERVICE EXAM-#.You must be at least 21 years of age at the time of filling the Civil Services (Preliminary) Exam form and not more than 30 years of age (various relaxations are available for different categories)Relaxation is there in upper age limit upto 3years for the candidates of OBC category.-For the candidates of SC/ST category, relaxation is there in upper age limit upto 5 years.-Relaxation is there in upper age limit upto 10 years for the candidates with physical disabilitiesEducational Qualification:Candidate must be Graduate any stream from any recognized university.There is no percentage require for this examinationAttempts:For General candidate 4 attemptsFor OBC candidate 7 attemptsFor SC/ST candidate No Limitsgood luck....

    Well dear ips stands for indian police service.to get this job you have to crack civil services exam which is conducted every year by upsc.
    ELIGIBILITY:
    @You must have done your graduation from a recognised university with any stream.
    @age limit:
    general-21 to 30 years.
    @obc-21 to 33 years.
    @sc-21 to 35 years.
    For ips exam you should be physically fit.

    Dear aspirant there are great scopes in the IPS examination if a candidate crack this exam his/her first posting to be counted as IPS designated police officer police officer to Police commissioner.This will be the promotional area so indeed IPS lead's a bright future.To be an IPS officer please follow eligibility.

    1. Any graduate or a final year candidate from a recognized University in any discipline can write IPS officer.

    2.This exam.is conducted by UPSC every year.

    3.Nationality: Indian.Male/Female both can apply for this examination.

    4.ATTEMPTS: A generaal candidate can avail for 4 attempts.An OBC can avail max. 7 attempts.

    S/C S/T: no limit.

    To get selection a candidate to clear preliminary/main exams and interview.

    dear aspirant,


    IPS stands for Indian Police Services. it is one of the prestigious post. you can join IPS through Civil Services exam that is conducted by UPSC.


    Civil Services exam constitutes three parts:
    1. CSAT
    2. Mains
    3. Interview



    for appearing in exam you have to fulfill some other requirement like:

    >>you must have completed or appearing in final year of graduation.



    >>your age must be within 21 years to 30 years on 1 August of the year of exam. there is relaxation in upper age limit upto 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
    and you must have attained the minimum age on same date and you have not attained the upper age on similar date.

    IPS stands for Indian Police Service.
    Civil Services Examination is conducted by UPSC every year for the recruitment of candidates for the post of IAS, IRS, IPS.

    The basic eligibility criteria for Civil Services Exam are as follows:
    Educational Qualification
    The candidate must hold any degree in any discipline from any recognized university
    Final year degree students are also eligible
    Degree obtained by distance education/open university is also eligible if the university is a recognized university

    Age limit
    General 21-30 yrs
    SC/ST 21-35 yrs
    OBC 21-33 yrs
    PH 21-40 yrs

    Number of attempts permitted
    General 4
    OBC 7
    PH 7
    SC/ST No Limit

    Nationality should be Indian.

    Special Physical Requirements For IPS
    1.Minimum height of 165 cm for Men and 150 cm for Women (minimum height is relaxable to 160 and 145 cm for Men and Women respectively in the case of candidates belonging to ST and to races such as Gorkhas, Garhwalias, Assamese, Kumaonis, Nagaland Tribals etc.)

    2.Min Chest girth fully expanded: 84 cm for Men and 79 cm for Women. Expansion of 5 cm for Men and Women.

    3.Total amount of Myopia (including the cylinder) should not exceed minus 4.00 D and total amount of Hypermetropia (including the cylinder) should not exceed plus 4.00 D

    4.Presence of Squint is a disqualification
