What are the required medical standards for IPS especially for those with weak eye sight?

i have myopic eyes and the power is -4. I cleared my ssb but was medically unfit due to poor eyesiteso i wanted to know about the medical standards required to join ips and also please tell me am i eligible for ips.if not then to which all branches i m eligible in civil service .presently i m studying mechanical engineering in 1st sem.so please reply i m great dilemma
