    Indian Economic Service (IES) and Indian Statistical Service (ISS) Exams are conducted by UPSC once each year
    Eligibilty to apply for this Exam is:

    IES-
    Post Graduation degree in Economics/Applied Economics/Business Economics/ Econometrics .

    ISS- Post Graduation degree in Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/ Applied Statistics.

    Age- Minimum 21 years
    Maximum 30 years
    SC/ST candidates can apply till 35 years
    OBC can apply till 33 years

    Questions will be asked from below sections in the ISS exams:General English
    General Studies
    Statistics-I
    Statistics-II
    Statistics-III
    Statistics-IV

    So, if you meet the above eligibilty, than you can apply for this exams.

    Hello,
    IES/ISS Exam also called Indian Economic Services/Indian Statistical Services.
    Indian Statistical Services Exam is conducted by UPSC to recruit statistical professionals in departments of Central Government.

    The Eligibility Criteria To Appear for IES/ISS Exam is as follows:

    -->The candidate should be having a Post-Graduate degree in Statistics/ Mathmatical Statistics/ Applied Statistics from university recognized by UGC for post of ISS
    -->The age of the candidate should be in between 21 to 30 years. There is relaxation as 3 years for OBC, 5 years SC/ST and 10 years for PH category candidates.
    -->The Exam Fee is 200 rupees and Female/SC/ST/PH category candidates are nor required to pay the fees.
    -->The candidate should be Indian.
