    YES Ofcourse you should try to appear and clear UPSC Civil Services Exams to become an IAS Officer.
    Your father is just trying to guide you in your career,he must be having good vision for you in future.

    Civil Services exams are one of most prestigious exams,most competitive and most difficult exams.
    So start you preparations before hand.

    To appear in UPSC Civil Services exams eligibility required are

    Educational Qualification:
    Graduation
    in any discipline from a UGC recognised University.

    Age Limits:
    General category - 21-30yrs
    OBC - 21-33yrs
    SC/ST - 21-35yrs

    Attempts Allowed:
    General category - 4 times
    OBC - 7 times
    SC/ST - Unlimited times.

    The Civil Services exams consists of:
    1.Prelims/CSAT-consisting of Paper 1 & Paper 2.Clear it to become eligible for Mains exams.
    2.Mains Exams-choice of two optional subjects at this stage.Clear mains exams to get an interview call.
    3.Interviews-is the test of personality.Get a good rank in the Final Merit List.

    Dear,

    Why not you can become the ias/ips officer. For this firstly you complete the some condition then do the hard work on the exam preparation then you got the position of the ias/ips.Firstly you complete the degree in the any stream from the recognized university.


    The age limit for the exam is 21 to 30 years. Age relaxation for the reserve category.


    You start your preparation with the help o the NCERT books which are the base of the civil service exam. It is helpful for you in the each and every exam.


    After that you start read the daily newspaper for know about the daily updation of the international or the national. Watch the news. Read the magazines to know about the Indian political and the Indian economy.


    After the preliminary exam you face the mains exam which you have took two optional subject from the subject list, also give the paper general study,English language and the one your choice language.


    After that you face the interview ,

    Hi Aspirant,

    IAS stands for Indian Administrative Service.

    It is the most reputed and elegant job of India.

    It may be the dream of your father but not your.

    So you should not choose IAS as your goal because your father wants to see you as IAS officer.

    You should do that what you like.

    If you are keen interested here, only then you should do preparation for IAS exam.

    Here I would like to say a proverb � where is wish, there is way�

    So choose what you like, don�t like what you do.

    UPSC conducts the exam for the post of IAS through CS Exam.

    This exam is conducted once in a year at national level.

    You have need of great dedication and family support to crack this exam.

    It is the toughest exam of Indian.

    That�s why I am saying to you to choose the field of your desire not your father�s desire.

    upsc civil services examination
    is the top most examination conducted by upsc for the post of IAS,IPS.
    you are so lucky that your father is so concerned about your future and is guiding you to the best possible way.
    in my view also you should go for the upsc civil services examination.

    according to the eligibility criteria for the civil services examintion
    aspirant should have completed graduation or engineering
    from a recognized university under ugc.


    the civil services exam is conducted in two stages .
    PRELIMINARY EXAMINATION
    MAINS EXAMINATION



    notification for the upsc civil services examination
    is released in the month of feb/march.

    The PRELIMINARY EXAMINATION is held in the month of MAY .
    The MAINS EXAMINATION is held in the month of OCTUBER
    according to the subjects selected by the candidates.

    age criteria for this exam is
    21-30 years for the general category
    21-33 years for the OBC category
    21-35 years for the SC/ST category


    Number of attempts
    4 attempts for general category
    7 attempts for OBC category
    no limit for SC/ST category



    examination pattern

    PRELIMINARY EXAMINATION

    Paper I : 200 Marks
    Economic and Social Development -
    Sustainable Development, Poverty,
    Inclusion, Demographics, Social Sector Initiatives,

    General Issues on Environmental Ecology,
    Bio-diversity and Climate Change, General Science

    Current Events of National and International Importance,
    History of India and Indian National Movement

    Indian and World Geography -
    Physical, Social, Economic Geography of India and the world

    Indian Polity and Governance -
    Constitution, Political System,
    Panchayati Raj, Public Policy, Rights Issues.

    Paper II: 200 marks

    Comprehension,
    Interpersonal skills including communication skills,
    Logical reasoning and analytical ability,
    Decision-making and problem solving,
    General mental ability,
    Basic numeracy ,
    English language comprehension .

    MAINS EXAMINATION

    paper 1: 300 marks

    one of the language selected by the aspirant from
    the 22 languages included in the 8th schedule of the constitution.

    paper 2: 300 marks
    english

    paper 3: 200 marks
    essay in the language chose by the candidate

    paper 4&5: 600 marks
    general studies (two papers of 300 marks each)

    paper 6,7,8,9: 1200 marks
    two subjects selected by the candidate out of the allowed subjects by UPSC.
    (two paper of each subject)

    Main Exam Optional Subjects
    Agriculture, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science,
    Anthropology, Botany, Chemistry, Civil Engineering,
    Commerce and Accountancy, Economics,
    Electrical Engineering, Geography, Geology,

    first csat
    then main exam
    finally interview

    prepare well and write it well

    IAS: Stands for the Indian Administrative Services

    Well it will depend on you rather than your father or us

    As if you want to become a IAS Officer than you have to

    Go for it no doubt with out any problem

    but if you don't have interest in it then i don't

    Think you have to go for it as choose

    The option which you like or in which you

    Have interest and go for the option with out any problem

    As we all know how much reputed exam is the civil services exam

    And the exam is the highest difficult exam of the country

    And also for the one of the Highest posts of our country too

    Here is Eligibility Required for the exam:

    # The Applicant must be pass in graduation from a recognized university

    # The candidate of the final year can also apply for the exam

    # The age limit for the exam is 21-30

    # The candidate should be citizen of India

    friend this is all about your dreams and you interest this type of exams you cant be clear without passion and your interest..

    so i can say that if you are not interested in it then it is totally waste of time and money...

    and if you have then this is best future and career for you otherwise go for other field ,..

    the main question here arises that what exactly you want to do in your life?? If you have the passion in you for something then you should not listen to anybody and go on for your passion but if you don�t have an aim in your life and have a belief that if you�ll prepare for ias, you can be an ias, then you should go on for this preparation

    IAS stands for Indian Administrative Service.It may be the dream of your father.But the main thing is,if you are interested in this post then you can get it,Otherwise you didn't get that one this type of exams without your interest.
    This type of examination is conducted once in a year at national level.If you became a IAS your father will happy.
    So mainly think your future for to became a IAS and then work hard.
