My mother's name is misprinted in ICSE 10th certificate. Can I use the correct spelling while filling Civil Services Prelims application form and produce an affidavit at the time of verification?

My mother's name has been misprinted as "SHUBHADRA" in my class 10th certificate instead of "SHUBHADA". But it is correct in my class 12th certificate. I will be appearing the Civil Services Exam next year. So while filling up the form, can I use the correct spelling and produce an affidavit at the time of verification? Please suggest.
