    Dear friend...

    For custom officer post you have to appear in CSE....

    CSE stands for Civil Service Examination...

    this exam is held by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission)

    This exam can give you entry in 27 different services
    Custom Officer Service is one of them

    This exam has two Separate part


    1. Preliminary Exam
    2. Main Exam


    you have to follow some criteria like:

    1. Graduation with min 55% of marks/grade
    2. Age should be more than 18 years
    3. Indian Citizenship
    4. Must possess Driving License
    5. Have Reliable Transportation
    6. Must not Addicted to any Drug
    7. Must pass extensive background check


    you have to prepare with following subjects

    1. English
    2. General Knowledge
    3. Mathematics

    Well dear custom officer post falls under the group a post.for this you have to go through csat exam and then you can join in custom department from there.
    ELIGIBILITY:
    @You must have citizenship of india.
    @you should have graduation degree from a recognised university.
    @your age should be between 21to 30 years.age relaxation of 3 years is given to obc and 5 years is to sc candidate.

    To became Customs officer you would be crack Civil Service Exam which is conducted by UPSC every year

    You must be Graduate any stream from any recognized university

    Your age should be between 21-30 years

    Examination:

    1. Preliminary Examination (Written Test)
    2. Main Exam (Written Test and Interview)

    Preliminary of CSAT exam;

    Paper-I Marks : 200 Duration 2 Hours

    1.Current events of national and international importance
    2. History of India and Indian National Movement
    3. Indian and Word Geography
    4. Indian Polity and Governance
    5 Economic and Social Development
    6. General Issues on Environment
    7. General Science

    Paper-II Marks : 200 Duration 2 Hours

    1. Comprehension
    2. Interpersonal skills including communication skills
    3. Logical reasoning and analytical ability
    4. Decision making and problem solving
    5. General Mental ability
    6. Basic Numeracy
    7. English Language
    8 Question relating to English Language

    2. Main Examination:

    Paper-I One of the Indian Language to selected by the candidate from 22 language. Marks : 300

    Paper-II : English Marks 300

    Paper-III Essay Marks 200

    Paper- IV & V : General Studies Marks 600

    Paper-VI,VII,VIII, & IX Any Two subject to be selected from the prescribed optional subject Marks 1200 (300 marks for each paper)

    Interview : 300 Marks

    Hi,You should attend UPSC exam as part of selection procedure for this job. You should first clear a preliminary exam which will help you to attend main exam also. Those who are selected in written test will have to clear Physical Test and Personal Interview to get in to this postEligibility conditions==>you must have a graduation in any field is the required qualification.==>you have to score at least 55% marks in the graduation level.==> you age should be between 21 years --30 yearsgood luck.....

    to become a custom officer you should have to appeared CIVIL SERVICE EXAM FIRST(CSE).

    CIVIL SERVICE EXAM is conducted by UPSC once in a year.

    dear aspirant,



    UPSC conduct Civil Services exam for the post of IRS(Customs and

    Excise). The exam is conducted every year. you need to complete

    your graduation to take part in exam.



    Civil Services exam constitutes three parts:
    1. CSAT
    2. Mains
    3. Interview



    for appearing in exam you have to fulfill some other requirement like:

    >>you must have completed or appearing in final year of graduation.



    >>your age must be within 21 years to 30 years on 1 August of the year of exam. there is relaxation in upper age limit upto 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
    and you must have attained the minimum age on same date and you have not attained the upper age on similar date.
