no, it is not necessary to join ias academy, if you are able enough to prepare for the examination and crack it on your own, without any help then you must not join ias academy.

if you have a good catching power then you don't want to go anywhere .
Because a good catcher can prepare this exam with regular study.
Just go and read regular newspaper and cut some important news .
Read some GK books and pratice regular .
Try to communicate with the people in english .
so your regular english can improve .
Also try to develop your personality and your walking and sitting style.
Because it will effect in your interview.

Its better if you join because they'll train you well you can have some idea what you should learn. But you can avoid joining if you are confident about the syllabus and subjects....

No, it is not necessary to join any coaching institutes or IAS academy for preparation.
To become an IAS officer one can appear the IAS entrance exam conducted by UPSC & qualifying the entrance exam successfully with a good rank.
It is totally depends on your preparation how to crack the exam.
civil services is one of the prestigious exam of All India Service. I AS is one of them.
Every year millions of students are apply for the exam but few of them are beat the exam. So, I must say that the exam is very tough & it is very difficult to crack the exam but not impossible. Every thing is possible in this world.
So, work hard to achieve your Goal because always remember Hard work is the key of success.

Well IAS stands for Indian Administrative Service.It is a civil service exam conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Comission).As per there rules and relugation it is not complusory for any one to join in any coaching classes.However if the candidate fell tough to prepare on there own they can join coaching classes.They will train you and guide you in all possible ways.So it is adviceable to join coaching class for IAS exam. .....All the best....
