Re: Right now my age is 21, recently completed B.Tech and working for an MNC. When should I plan for giving UPSC exam?

    dear friend,

you are eligible right now and you can apply for the same if you want .

because you are eligible right now according to your educational qualification, because the minimum educational qualification required for the same is graduation only.

but first you should see the age criteria also that you are according to it or not??

    age criteria:-

    1. for general category :- 21-30 years.
    2. for obc category:-21-33 years.
    3. for sc/st category:- 21-35 years.

    no of attempts :-

    for generals:-4 attempts.
    for obc(s):-7 attempts.
for sc/st(s):- no any restriction .

as i already written that you are also eligible right now but i advise you to take one year preparation and than apply for it because there are a restriction of no of attempts .so when you think that you are completely ready for the same , than you should think about to appear in the exam .
