Dear if you have completed BAMS - Bachelor's of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery as your graduation and wants to make your career in Central Government through UPSC exams so first of all I would like to inform you that you are desiring for practice as Ayurvedic Medical Officer that is not possible because UPSC board is a government body that is responsible to conduct various recruitment process for different posts in central government of India so you can apply only for job or recruitment process exams under UPSC board and there are some posts related to your qualification and examination conducted by UPSC board but your job and designation will not be under NDA as you want and other details about this examination are mentioned below :
Medical Officer / Research Officer Recruitment (Ayurveda) in Department of Ayush, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare
Educational Qualification : A degree in Ayurveda of a recognized university/ statutory state board/ council/ Faculty of Indian Medicine or equivalent recognized under the Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970 (48 of 1970)
Enrollment on the Central Register of Indian Medicine or State Register of Indian Medicine
Your age should not be less than 21 years and more than 35 years and relaxation in upper age as per government guidelines
Duties : To work as a doctor in CGHS dispensaries and as Research Officer in Department of Ayush
Head Quarter : New Delhi and at - CGHS Dispensaries/Units anywhere in India
Now you have got all details about this recruitment process that you can be a Research Officer under the Department of Ayush means your practice will be completed under this department after getting job but before that you have to pass all the recruitment stages then only you will be declared as eligible candidate for this recruitment but before that you should complete all above mentioned eligibilities then apply for this test
There are some other posts also related to health department but your qualification does not match with the requirement of those posts but above mentioned is enough for you and you should make it as your target. This year's UPSC AMO recruitment online application date has been over in last month so you can not apply but this recruitment will be conducted again by the board in next year so till that time, you can prepare for this examination
