What is the expected cutoff for General category aspirants to clear UPSC Prelims exam? What was last years cutoff?

UPSC prelims 2012 cut-off
ill gave civil services prelims 2013. I want to know what will be expected cut-off for general category to clear prelims? ... what was cut-off for general category in 2012 prelims ?

Cut-off of UPSC prelims exam depends upon all appearing performance. If they give be best, then cut-off will be high.

Previous year cut-off UPSC prelims exam 2012 is 220 marks of 400 marks.

In paper I in cut off marks is 90 marks out of 200 marks.

In paper ii cut off is 130 marks of 200.

There will be negative marking 1/3 rd of total marks.

If papers is difficult, then Cut-off will be low otherwise at the medium level as in 2012 prelims exam.

you have to know about cut off right just i will explain here

why some guys simply exaggerate things without having knowledge of facts.Last year 2012 cutoff was 209 not 220 as officialy declared by upsc on their website www.upsc.gov.in under the titles examination where they have mentioned the cutoffs.and this year exam was tougher as gs was very confusing so hopefully cutoff will be 200-209 for general.it may be on lower side not on higher.it is upsc not ssc or bank po.Questions were analytical and not direct.Options were rather confusing..so dont get frustrated by fake facts and figures.check from upsc itself
