no friend you can not go with NDA EXAM (national defense academy)as you have bachelor degree.but there is path after graduation i.e you can appear for

=CDS EXAM (combined defense service exam) through upsc held twice in a year or

=UES (university entry scheme (held in campus )

=direct entry scheme

=NCC special entry( must posses ncc passed certificate)

=AFCAT( airforce common admission test)

**for all the above mentioned entries,one had follow the requirements needed during the selection procedure,otherwise if found unfit or wrong information would lead to the disqualification.

so before applying for it,please make sure you all fit for the eligibility criteria and fill the application form after reading the form and fill it properly

Let me tell you that the minimum age limit of the NDA examinations is 16.5 years and the maximum age limit is 19 years .

According to my estimation,after completing your bachelor's degree in engineering in mechanical stream,you age must be more than 19 years.So it is not possible for you to appear for the NDA examinations.



If your age is less than 19 years then only you can go for the NDA examinations.

If you are so keen in joining defence then kindly go for the CDS examinations.

As you have completed your bachelor's degree ,so you are eligible for it.

Kindly apply for the CDS examinations at www.upsonline.nic.in

The important dates for the CDS2 examination are:Date of notification: 25/05/2013

Last date of receiving application: 24/06/2013

Date of examinations:08/09/2013.

No, it is not possible to you bcoz NDA exam only base of 12th level candidates but you are also Mechanical Engineer.
So, you can't apply for it. For this exam candidates should be 12th pass out only.

as per nda rule you can give nda exam after passing 12th and must have attained a age of 16.5 to 19 yrs ....
if you satisfies above requirements then you are allowed to give the exam .
but as per your qualification you are highly qualified for this exam .
so you will not be allowed to give this exam ..........

Sorry friend but you can apply for NDA after B.E since you must be overage. And to appear for NDA & NA Exam your age must lie between 16.5 yrs to 19 yrs.

If you are so eager to join Defence then don't be upset you can apply for CDS Exam. CDS stands for Combined Defence Forces.
CDS Exam is conducted by UPSC twice a year for the recruitment of candidates in the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Naval Academy (NA), Air Force Academy (AFA), Officers Training Academy (OTA).


The eligibility criteria for CDS Exam are as follows:
Nationality:
The candidate must be Indian.

Age Limit: Male candidates (Unmarried) of age between
(i) For IMA: 19-24 years.
(ii) For Indian Naval Academy: 19-22 years.
(iii) For Air Force Academy: 19-23 years.
(iv) For OTA: Male candidates (married or unmarried) of age between 19-25 years.
(v) For OTA: Unmarried Women of age between 19-24 years.

Educational Qualification:
(i) For I.M.A. and OTA: Degree of a recognized University or equivalent.
(ii) For Indian Naval Academy: Degree in Engineering.
(iii) For Air Force Academy: Degree of a recognized University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.
Final year students can also apply.

Yes, you can write NDA exam now or after completing your degree

If your age is less then 19 years, then you can apply otherwise you can not apply for NDA.

For NDA candidate must be 12th pass from any recognized board

After completing your Degree you can apply for CDS (Combined Defence Service) Exam.

For CDS candidate age should be 17-23 years

No dear, It is not possible bcoz NDA exam 12th level based you according to your qualification your age also high so that you can't apply for it.

See the eligibility criteria for NDA exam is as follows-

1)12th class pass of the 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent
with Physics and Mathematics, conducted by a state education board or
a university and also Students who are appearing in the 12th class
under 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent examination can
also apply for this examination.
2)Students who are appearing for the NDA exam must be unmarried
males. They must be atleast 16 1/2 years and not more than 19 years
on January 1st or July 1st of the year subsequent to the year of the
exam.


Now by the time you have completed your B.Tech,it is more or less certain that you must have crossed the age of 19 years.
Hence you cannot sit for the exam.

But if in case you have not attained that age,then you can surely sit for the exam!

You must go through the criteria for applying in the NDA exams.

~The candidates must have completed 10+2 passed with physics and maths for air force and navy and with army with any stream.
~Age limit-16.5 to 19 years.
~Only unmarried male candidates are applicable.

It not possible .You can eligible for NDA exam after completing the graduation.

Instead of NDA you can apply for the CDS exam. This is also defence entrance exam If you clear this exam then you have the opportunity to join the Indian Navy, Indian Air force and also Indian Military fields.

CDSE exam is for the graduates. Graduates after the completing the graduation eligible for the CDS exam.


Note : Final Year candidates can also eligible for the exam ( UP to VI semester)

You have completed BE degree in Mechanical Engineering so you are applicable for NDA exam but your age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years old.

From my point of view your age is over 19 years old because you are now graduate candidate so you are not eligible for NDA exam .

Better option for you to first complete your graduation degree then you can apply for CDS and AFCAT exam.

In both exam , engineering graduate candidate are applicable.

You are not eligible for NDA exam because age required for NDA exam is 16.5 to 19 year and I think you have completed it. But don't worry there are a lot of options to join Defense job. You can go for CDS, MES exam and Air force, Navy and Indian Army separately recruit candidates for engineering cadre and age required for these exam is 19 to 24 years.
