General : 21 to 30 Years
OBC : 21 to 33 Years

Indian Revenue Services(IRS) examination is one of the civil service examination conducted by UPSC.

>>>Academic qualifications:Must be passed Degree from Indian recognized university in any stream.

>>>Age limits are:General-21 to 30 years.OBC-21 to 33 years.-SC/ST-21 to 35 years.

>>>Must be a citizen of India.

>>>Selection Process:
-Preliminary (Onjective type,2 papers, with 2+2 hours duration).
-Mains examination(essay type,5 papers,with 300 marks each,with any two optional subjects).
3.Interview.

***Mains examination will be held for those who qualified in Preliminary exam only.

Eligibility criteria for IRS:
Educational qualification:
1.The candidate must have posses a bachelor degree or equivalent from any recognized University of India.
2.The final year degree course holder are also apply for IRS.
Age:
For general candidate minimum age-21 & maximum -30 on 1st august at the year of examination.
Upper age limit is relaxed by 3 year for OBC & 5 Year for SC/ST.
Upeer age limit is also relaxed in favour of Defence personnel service.
Other eligibility:The candidate should be a citizen of India.
