For the post of Dental Surgeon in Army you have to give the UPSC CMS exam.
Eligibility Criteria For CMS:
1. only MBBS graduates can apply for CMS exam.
2. you should not reach the age of 32 years on 1 August of the year of the exam.

UPSC does not conduct any exam for the post of dental surgeon in army. YOu have to apply for army dental corps(short service commission) exam conducted by indian army.
THe criteria:
1) BDS/MDS degree from any recognised university
2) age less than 45 years
3) have valid certificate of registration from IDA
Suitable candidates are then called for interview.
