    CMS(Combined Medical Services) exam is conducted by UPSC

    for the posts in medical field. in this exam only MBBS candidates can

    apply.

    Eligibility Criteria For CMS:

    • you must complete MBBS from recognized college or university.
    • you must not have attained the age of 32 years.

    Hello

    The CMS(COMBINED MEDICAL SERVICES) is a examination which is conducted by the UPSC to appoint the medical officer in various governmental organization and the eligibility criteria for CMS is

    1)Educational qualification-have passed the final written and practical paper of M.B.B.S examination.
    2)Age limit-23-32 years for general candidate and there are age relaxations for reserved category and ex-serviceman of government.
    3)Nationality-Indian.

    The above three are the only eligibility criteria for the CMS,the notifications of the exam is usually released in the month of september and examination is conducted in the month of january.There is a interview stage conducted by UPSC after the candidates have passed the written exams.

    UPSC conducts the Combine Medical Services(CMS) Exam every year.
    CMS 2013 Exam Notification-23.03.2013
    Last Date for Application-22.04.2013
    CMS 2013 Exam-30.06.2013


    Services/posts recruitment to which is made through the Examination :
    i. Assistant Divisional Medical Officers in the Railways.
    ii. Junior Scale Posts in Indian Ordnance Factories Health Service
    iii. Junior Scale Posts in Central Health Services.
    iv. Medical Officers in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi.
    v. General Duty Medical Officers in NDMC.

    Eligibility For CMS Exam :

    Age Limit :
    General Category - Below 32 years on 1st January of the year of Examination
    OBC - Relaxation by +3yrs
    SC/ST - Relaxation by +5 yrs

    Educational Qualification :
    A pass in the written and practical parts of the final M.B.B.S. Examination.

    [FONT=Arial]Candidates appearing at the final MBBS Examination are also eligible to apply. Candidates qualifying on the result of the written part of the examination will be required to submit proof of passing the written and practical parts of final MBBS Examination alongwith their detailed application form to be filled up at that stage. A candidate who has yet to complete the compulsory rotating internship is educationally eligible for admission to the examination but on selection he will be appointed only after he has completed the compulsory rotating internship.[/FONT]

    Combined Medical Service Exam Eligibility -
    1>Age Limit - 21 to 32 years.
    Obc - 21 to 35 years.
    SC/ST - 21 to 37 year.
    2>Qualification -Candidates must have degree of M.B.B.S.Final year M.B.B.S student can also apply.
    3>Citizenship must be Indian.
    4>Exam Pattern -
    Written Exam -Paper I - 200 marks
    Paper II - 200 marks.
    Interview Test -200 marks.

    Notification month - August .
    Examination month - January.

    Eligibility criterion for CMS (Combined Medical Services) :-

    1. Should be pass written and practical parts of the final M.B.B.S. Examination.
    2. Should be age 32 years with relaxations for various categories like SC,ST,OBC,Ex-servicemen etc.
    3. Must be citizen of India.

    The basic eligibility criteria for CMS Exam are as follows:

    Educational Qualification
    For admission to the examination a candidate should have passed the written and practical parts of the final M.B.B.S. Examination.
    A candidate who has appeared or has yet to appear at the final M.B.B.S.
    Examination may also apply.

    Age limit
    General below 32 yrs
    SC/ST below 37 yrs
    OBC below 35 yrs
    PH below 42 yrs

    Nationality should be Indian

    dear aspirant,the eligibility criteria is as follow
    eligibility criteria for CMS
    1. below 32 years of age.
    2.Candidates must have passed the written and practical parts of the final Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) exam
    3. citizen of India or Nepal or Bhutan are eligible.
    4.Candidate must be fit physically and medically.
