Hi everyone, actually i am doing engg. 3rd year. But i want to participate in some other exams as well. Please tell me what/which type of exams can i give ??

1. cds (combined defence services )
2. civil services examination.
3. IFS (Indian forest services examination.)
4. IES (Indian engineering services)

• Now you are studying 3rd year so one more year is to go to give upsc exam
• And coming to age limit you must have above 21 years old
• If you are reservation candidate then relaxation also applicable
• Do not think about your stream or your percentage
• Why because upsc needs only graduation from any university
• with any percentage with any specialization
• But now you can not able to apply for UPSC exam
• After you coming to your 4th year then you may go for apply it
• First of all you have to concentrate on your studies
• After clearing all subject in your degree then crack the upsc exam

Currently you are not graduate so that you can give only those exams in which 12th marks are minimum qualification .
On the basis of 12th marks you can give the exam like Bank , Railway , SSC , UPSC etc.

For the bank you can give the clerk exam .

The eligibility criteria for the clerk exam is below :

Paper consists of five sections each of carry 50 objective type questions namely

The final selection will be based on the marks secured in written exam plus interview together .

After your graduation or in the final year of your graduation you can eligible for the CSE , IES exam also .

-> A final year student can also eligible for applying the exam , but before the main exam one have to complete the graduation .

So currently you give the bank exam and after when you are eligible then give the CSE exam till you prepare for the exam .

as you are engineering student you can apply for Civil Services Exam, IES, CDS, CPF, IFS etc.

only one exam that you can give is GATE (GRADUATE APTITUDE TEST in ENGINEERING).
this GATE score is valid for 2 yrs.
with GATE score you can do M.E/M.Tech

BHEL
IGCAR
SAIL etc.,

after your 4 th year you can give for any exam

since B.Tech/B.E is of 4 years, so you will have to wait a while.

In 4th year you may give examinations like :

>> CDS

>> Civil services etc

two years ago, there was a provision that you can appear for the UPSC examination but ihas been recently changed.

now the eligibility criteria has been modified and is that only candidates in final year of in any stream of graduation are allowed to be eligible for upsc exams.

so,dear,you are not eligible for upsc exams this year but donot worry next year you will be eligible for all the upsc exams except NDA and SCRA.

the exams for which you will be eligible are as follows:

1.civil services examination like IAS,IPS,IFS etc.

2.combined defence services .

3.Indian engineering services.
