What is the required physical fitness criterion for IAS exam? My height is 148 cms. Is it a problem?

i am GYANA PRASUNA pursuing my B-TECH final year and i am intrested in becoming an ias . i heared that certain physical fitness are required for becoming an ias so i kindly request u to give me the complete physical fitness details required
the most impotant thing is that my HEIGHT is 148 cm . I heard that height is alo a important factor for being selected for an ias so i am worried that i cant full fill my ambition so please tell me whether height is a important factor for becoming an ias?.

The IAS is a top most civilian post who is recruited as the top administrative officer of a district. It does not require any physical standard, but mentally sound and good physique only. Your short height won't affect for this job. So, don't worry on it, and prepare yourself for this examination. But there is some physical standard for the IPS service. height not at all important for the ias aspirant because for the candidates who got lower grade then they are taken consider into physical fitness and that too for the candidate having IPS it is important and that too for men it should be 165 and for women it should be 150cm and there is relaxation limit for the people who are under sc/st caste.chest expansion is that we should have men -84cm and for women it is 79 cm (expansion 5cm).eyesight for the myopia is below -4d and for hypermyopia it is above +4d.all joints should work properly .upsc conducts test only for those candidate who are under medical but not for the physical purpose.
