The Eligibility Criteria is: Any degree From Recognized University, Age Limit is 21-30 years Upper age limits also Applicable for SC/ST/OBC, Height is 170 cms. There is no limit for the graduation subject.
If you want to apply for this exam then focus on your graduation marks.
If don't have min. 54% marks. then you cann't apply for this exam.
If you get more then it doesn't matter if you got less then 54% marks then you cann't apply for the exam.
I hope you understand . It really doesn't matter what is your field of graduation .
You can apply for the exam.

yes you can if its a bachelor degree and also if you are in a government approved university... And you should also satisfy all the conditions like age limit,etc.. which you can refer from the upsc.gov.in

WHY NOT, You are Eligible for IPS exam which is conducted by UPSC once in a year.

IPS exam does not requires any Percentage requirement. IPS exam requires a graduation degree from a recognized university in any stream.

Commerce background or any other stream is Eligible for IPS exam.

Your age should be between 21-30 years.

You must be Indian Citizen and Physically fit.
