Dear as being a citizen of India you are independent to appear for any competitive examination if you are eligible for that and there is no objection at all and as you have already cleared preliminary examination of UPSC IAS and working in post office then there should be problem in your department that you are going to appear for further main examination and that is why you are thinking about NOC that is not necessary right now but if the board requires you to submit NOC certificate then you should request to the head of the department where you work and mention everything clearly that I am going to appear for Main examination of IAS that demanding for NOC and if I will not submit then they will reject my candidature that is why please sir give me NOC and surely there will be no issue in that and they will understand about your future and provide you No Objection Certificate at that time and you should accept and say thank to them and then you will have no problem in this recruitment process just keep concentration on the preparation of main examination and keep working on tough parts of the exam as much as possible and you will get success
All the best
