I am working as an engineer in HAL, Banglore, a PSU under ministry of defence. I want to know that whether i will get age relaxation for govt. employees in exams conducted by UPSC. And if I want to apply for ant exam in UPSC whether i have to produce an NOC or send appl. thru proper channel.

Since you are an employee of a govt. Sector you are eligible for age relaxation & you have to produce noc in any exams you apply.
yes, every government employee who wanted job in othr govt. sector have to show NOC always.
as you have already secured the job in govt. sector so it equally applied for you to applly through proper channel in UPSC"S exam too.
besides that YES you will get age relaxation in UPSC if atleast you have done your job in govt. sector which is generally 5 years by THE upsc., then only you will got the age relaxation of 5 years otherwise not.
