Studying 11th class (Non Medical stream), my date of birth is 12/06/1997. Am I eligible for NDA exam? Would I be eligible if I choose commerce stream?

I am in a great confusion right now....i need ur help regarding the following queries..
I am a non medical studen ....my date of birth is 12/06/1997 and studying in 11 class........am i eligible for NDA exam.....or if i would have opted for commerce stream......would i be eligible??? Plz help

sorry but you cant apply for NDA it require 16.5 age as minimum.

To appear in NDA Examination, you must Complete 12th standard then you are eligible for NDA Examination .

You are not Eligible for NDA exam. NDA exam stands for National Defence academy which is conducted by UPSC twice in a year.

NDA exam age limit is 16.5-19 years.

You have not full fil Age limit of NDA exam.

NDA exam is conducted to join following stream;-

Indian Army, Navy and Air force

You must be passed 12th standard from a recognized board.

Science stream for Navy and Air force

Any stream for army wing

You must be unmarried male .

you must be physically as well as mentally fit.

NDA exam pattern;-

Written exam

SSB interview

Medical test.

while filling up the form of NDA, If your age is more than 16.5 years then you can apply for the NDA exam. And yes you will be eligible of giving the NDA exam even from the commerce stream also. But you cannot apply for the air force wing in the NDA, the reason being that the criteria for joining the air force wing through the NDA exam is that you should be having physics and mathematics as your main subjects in class 11th and 12th

If you want to go in the Indian Air Force and Indian Navy then you must have to choose science stream in your 11th & 12th class.

Or if you want to join the Indian Army then you can choose any of the stream.

If you want to give the NDA exam then you must have passed the 12th class from a recognized school or board of the nation.

The Age limit for the NDA exam is:-

The candidate should be born in between 2nd January 1995 & 1st July 1997.

Your age is below the required age limit so you can apply for the NDA exam 2013.

The eligibility criteria for applying in NDA is as follows
1)The candidates must have passed intermediate or must be studying in final year of intermediate to apply for NDA.
2)The candidates who are applying for air force and navy wing must have physics and maths in 10+2 or intermediate.
3)In order to apply for army wing,any stream is applicable.
4)Age limit is 16.5 to 19 years(at the time of commencement of the course,not at time of applying).

Your present age is 15 years 11 months and when you will be studying class 12,you can apply.

The age limit for nda is 16-5-19 yrs so you can check your age accordingly and also you have done your 12th from recognized board.

and you can join only army if you select in nda exam .

You are eligible if you complete 16.5, since the eligibility criteria for age is 16.5 to 19... So you can appear next year..
PCM in 12th std is required to appear for INDIAN NAVY or AIR FORCE...
Candidate should be a Indian citizen....

Hi, sorry friend you cannot appear for NDA right now because you should be at least 16.5 years old at time of application for NDA.

The age criteria for appearing in NDA is 16.5-19 years.

Besides if you are a non-science stream student then you can only select army in NDA because for selecting Air Force or Navy you should have Maths and Physics as compulsory subjects in class 12th exams.
