Sorry dear ,there is no chance to apply for the NDA II examinations for you because NDA II examinations had been already conducted on 19th august,2012.

But donot get frustrated,if your age still lies between the age limit that is 16.5 to 19 years ,you can still apply for the upcoming NDA examinations that will held in april.

The notification for that NDA examination is about to come in December 2012.

NDA is the national defence academy.

The examination for it is conducted twice every year ,one in the month of april and other in the month of august.

Eligibility criteria:

>>the aspirants must have done their 10+2 from a recognised board with mathematics and english as their compulsory subjects.

>>minimum of 60 % marks is needed in 12th.

>>10+2 appearing candidates can also apply for this examination.

>>You are must be between 16.5-19 years.

>>You must be unmarried male.

>>Nationality : Indian.

National defense academy exam is conducted twice in a year by UPSC for entry into navy, army and airforce wings of Indian military .
for NDA 1: notification comes in december month and exam will be in april month
for NDA II : notification comes in may month and exam will be in august month
This year NDA II examination was conducted on 19th august. sorry, you have missed out the exam this year. So look out for the next NDA/NA exam notification in the month of december. THe notification will be released in UPSc website upsc.gov.in. YOu can also see employmentnews weelky paper published by central govt.

For the NDA exam the age limit is required is the 16.5 year to 19 years. For this exam only unmarried male candidate is eligible. Female candidates cannot give the exam


The qualification is required for the NDA exam is the secondary class passed with science subject.


For NDA-1 is the same condition apply.

No,you cannot apply or appear in NDA 2 exams 2012.

The notification for the exam was advertised on 05.05.12

and last date of submissions of applications was 04.06.12.

The NDA exams 2 were conducted on 19th August 2012 for

Army,Navay and Airforce wing for the 130th course. So you

have missed this golden chance.Better wait for next years

i.e. 2013 and apply on time.

so you can not apply for the NDA II examination of this year.

as you may know the age limit to apply for the NDA examination which is 16.5 to 19 years.
so if your age is between this limit then you can try for the next years NDA examinations .

in the month of DECEMBER this years .

Sorry to say Dear, the time is already over i.e. on 4/6/12 and at present there is no chance for apply for the same. So, its better to try next time. But if you think your age will be over next time than also don't give up your preparation. Because you can join Indian Defence Service after completion of your Graduation. that is through Combined Defence Service Exam. which is also conducted by the UPSC. So, work hard for graduation and don't give up preparation for CDS... Good Luck...!!!!
